Adrenal Exhaustion

This is a term used to describe a condition where cortisol levels are low based on a saliva test. Often times an eight A.M. fasting blood cortisol level will be normal, while the tissue levels measured by the saliva test are low.The saliva test has not been embraced by the medical community to any extent at this point in time.
